I created this Mothers Day card for Mothers Day 2018. I drew the illustration using an Apple pencil and the Tayasui Sketches app on the iPad Pro. I picked a colour palette and designed the pattern around the copy and font I had chosen. I then imported the file into Illustrator and continued the watercolour effect in the illustration to the copy, giving the whole illustration a handpainted feel. The design was printed on card and, after its use as a card for Mothers Day, it was framed as art.
